Recipe for camp donuts!

You asked, I'm answering!  After receiving more than a few emails, messages and tweets requesting the recipe for the camp donuts from my last post, I knew I needed to get this recipe up stat....so here it is!

Camp donuts are simple!  You need several cans of refrigerated biscuits (any kind).
1 biscuit = 1 donut
You also need oil for frying and your choice of either powdered sugar or a cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat the donuts in.

To begin, separate biscuits into individual sections.

Take the plastic cap of a soda or water bottle and make a hole in the center of each biscuit....

You can make smaller donut holes with the centers!  Then you simply dunk each donut in hot oil for about 30-60 seconds on each side(we had to experiment a little with the time, but you want them a nice golden brown & you don't want them undercooked and doughy inside).  I would recommend doing one by itself the first time to determine how long to cook them without ruining a whole batch :D

Shake the donuts in a paper bag filled with your choice of powdered sugar or cinnamon/sugar!

And eat......

eat.........

eat ;D

ENJOY!!!
